Today, Wednesday, from 11:30am – 2:00pm people from all over Europe will be calling their respective heads of state demanding ambitious cuts in line with the climate science. We need you to be part of this by calling Number 10 on 0207 930 4433 and demanding that the UK government pressures for an agreement that:
1) Cuts emissions from the EU by at least 40% by 2020; and
2) Ensures that this target does not include any sneaky offsets.

Absolutely hopeless. I called No 10 Downing Street three times and each time I was put through to the talking computer, which told me that I could not leave a message and that the ony way was to either fax or send a letter. By the way each time I rang the operator got more and more upset and listened less and less to me demanding that I be allowed to talk to Gordon Brown to push for a 40% reduction.
Onwards and upwards but not with Gordon.
